We prescribe ovulation induction fertility drugs that enable ovulation to occur, regulate ovulation in certain women or increase the production of eggs during a cycle. The most commonly used medications include; Clomid, Gonadotropins, Metformin, and Parlodel. We recommend ovulation induction to women who ovulate infrequently enabling them to benefit from such fertility drugs. Recurrent pregnancy loss, evaluation and treatment
Recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL) is when a woman has had two or more failed pregnancies with pregnancies ending in miscarriages due to a non-recurrent cause. At CT OBGYN , recurrent pregnancy loss with unknown cause requires our team of medical professionals to determine and evaluate the appropriate treatment dependent on the patient’s condition to allow them to conceive successfully. A number of known causes can result in recurrent pregnancy loss such as; parental chromosomal abnormality, uterine abnormality, or untreated medical conditions such as, diabetes or hypo/hyperthyroidism.
